HubSpot CRM Extension

The DepositFix extension for HubSpot CRM shows all Stripe transactions and active subscriptions and allows you to issue refunds and cancel subscription plans without leaving HubSpot CRM.

Extension Overview

The extension is available on the left side of the contact view in HubSpot.

 
 
 

Cancel Subscriptions Using HubSpot CRM

Depositfix CRM extension in Hubspot allows you to cancel a Stripe subscription from the contact view in HubSpot.

 
  1. In HubSpot, open the Contact that you are cancelling the subscription for.
  1. Go to Stripe Subscriptions widget.
  1. Click on Actions >> Cancel
    1.  
       
  1. Click Yes in the confirmation pop-up
    1.  
       
  1. The subscription will now disappear from the Stripe Subscriptions widget.

  1. By default, cancellations take effect immediately. Once a subscription is cancelled, no further invoices are generated for that subscription.

Refund Using HubSpot CRM

Depositfix CRM extension in Hubspot allows you to process refunds for Stripe payments.

 
  1. In HubSpot, open the contact that you are refunding.
  1. Go to Stripe Payments widget.
  1. Click on Actions >> Refund
    1.  
       
  1. Click on Yes in the confirmation pop-up
    1.  
       
  1. By clicking on View More on the Stripe Payments widget, it will show the payment as refunded.

  1. Stripe processes refunds immediately. Refunds usually take 5-10 business days to show on the bank statement.

Create New Charge (single payment) Using HubSpot CRM

You can create new single payment charges using the HubSpot CRM right from the contact view. Note that the customer will have to have submitted a form previously, so their payment data is already in Stripe.

 
  1. In HubSpot, open the contact that you are refunding.
  1. Go to Stripe Payments widget.
  1. Click on Create a Charge
    1.  
       
  1. Fill in the charge details, and click on confirm
    1.  
       

The customer will be charged automatically; you can verify the payment was successful by checking the payment widget; you should see the most recent charge listed there.

 
 

Create a New Subscription Using HubSpot CRM

You can create new single payment charges using the HubSpot CRM from the contact view. The customer must have submitted a form previously, so their payment data is already in Stripe.

 
  1. In HubSpot, open the contact that you are refunding.
  1. Go to Stripe Subscriptions widget.
  1. Click on Add a Subscription
    1.  
       
  1. Select the subscription, and click on Confirm
    1.  
       
  1. The customer will now be automatically subscribed to the plan you selected. You can verify this by checking the subscription widget; you should see the new plan listed.
 
 
 

Update an Existing Subscription Using HubSpot CRM

You can also update (upgrade/downgrade an existing subscription to a new one using the HubSpot CRM right from the contact view. Note that this only applies to subscriptions created through DepositFix.

 
  1. In HubSpot, open the Contact that you are updating the subscription for.
  1. Go to Stripe Subscriptions Update widget.
  1. Click on Actions >> Update Subscriptions.
    1.  
       
  1. Select the subscription, and click on Confirm
    1.  
       
  1. The customer's subscription will now be automatically updated to the plan you selected. You can verify this by checking the subscription widget; you should see the updated plan listed there.
